NEED WHEEL SPACER HELP FOR TACO

Lookin to put either 1.5" or 2" wheel spacers on my 2010 tacoma

i have 20" black moto metals and 33" toyo open country a/t

would love to see pics of how this would look

 

ill snap a pic tomorrow but not sure if it would do you any good because i have fiberglass fenders

 

It might actually make you rub more by pushing the wheels out and increasing the arc they travel when turning.

TW member zombie runner was running 285s with 4.5"bs wheels and wheels spacers as well and he could barely turn.

 

i dont want to lift it anymore though i want to keep it leveled but want my wheels to pop out a little more when looking head on to the truck cause im eventually gonna put a kc westin bull bar with lights on too so im in a pickle i guess

 

I want to do the same thing on mine i have a 3 inch lift kit but i am scared that if i add spacers it will brake something. i dont really know how things work. what should i do

 

There's an ongoing debate whether or not spacers hurt your truck just as much as wider tires do. Check 2nd gen discussion section. But IMO, if you are running 33s on 20s with proper bs you don't need spacers, if you run 16s with 4.5 bs I think a .5" spacer will do the trick and not put any (more) stress on your truck. 17s and 18s with proper bs will do just fine.

 

you're really gonna put 20" wheels on your truck?

 

I have 265/70 17 tires on 17x8 wheels with 4.5 BS, also have 1.25" spacers and had some major rubbing issues. 1.75" lift with 5100s in the front.

Spacers will only greatly increase your rubbing issues.
