Will a 295/75/16 tire fit on a 7 inch rim?

    3'' toytec lift springs wrapped around 5100's. Deck plate mod. TRD seat belt pads. JL audio amps /subs and Alpine speakers. Diff breather mod. Working on a custom rear bumper
    Ive hear that as long as the tire is within 4.5" of the rim width it will work. But is this pushing the limit since this tire is right at the 11.5" cutoff?

    Im asking because im looking at these rims

    and the 8" wide rim has 5" backspacing and the tires will rub with that. So the 7" rim is my only option in this style.

    I dont think so pal...stock wheels are 7" wide and some discount tires bitch about mounting 285s

    anything thats 8" in width will be perfect.

    4.5 BS
    6 on 5.5 Lug Pattern
