updating my 2000 5 lug taco, need help deciding tire sizes!

Here is what im ordering in the next couple of days.

to start off, im getting the Daystar 1.5 inch strut spacer leveling kit (only leveling kit offered for the 2wd 5 lug)

for rims im going with some black pro comp alloys 16x8s 5x4.5 lug pattern

and i cant decide what size tires i should get, ive called 3 different stores and they all say i can fit 31 inch tires under there (really cant believe that) my stock tire size is a 26.5 inch tire and i cant believe a 1.5 inch leveling kit will allow a tire thats almost 4.5 inches bigger (wth) im gonna go down to the local 4WP store and see what they say today at lunch.

so heres my tire options

265-75-16 31.7 in. (this is the largest tire that everyone says i can fit)

265-70-16 31.1 in.

255-70-16 30.1 in.

255-65-16 29.3 in.


let me know your opinions! i wana make sure i get the perfect size for my truck and i dont wana be stuck with a tire that doesnt even fit my truck lol thanks! and ill def post pics when its all done!
