17 "Tire/Rim setup on 3" lift!

    Hey guys,

    Planning on lifting my 06 DC PreRunner longbed with the 3" spacer and block lift. I am planning on changing over to a 17" rim and tire. What size tires and rims would go best with 3" lift with no or the least amount of rubbing?

    First off, I would avoid both leveling kits and blocks.

    As for your question, with trimming and the properly backspaced wheels, you could fit 285/70/17. With no trimming, go with 265/70/17.

    What's a good kit to go with then? I want something good but also want something that won't cost an arm and a leg.
