I bought my truck with the intention of getting new tires, but delayed. Now after my second flat tire, I intend to get new tires. I thought I would get a couple opinions here.

I am looking at BF G T/A's or Cooper Cobra's, which is better? If you guys know of any good places to get them online, I would appreciate it...looking at discount tire direct right now.

Also, right now it has 195/75-14's in the front and 215/70-14's in the back. I wanted to just go with all 215s. Would that be the better way to go? Or should I look into new wheels as well with bigger tires?

I'm in college right now, not really looking for something too expensive and just something that looks decent on a stock tacoma.

    Thanks
    -Greg

You have 14 inch rims?? thats weird. Are you looking for a A/T tire or a M/T tire?

I had a '95 4x2 x-cab and purchased the Firestone Firehawk ss20 and got about 90K miles before I bought the same tires again! Was very happy with wear and road noise. I think they are obsolete now and the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 is the surviving equivalent. There are many anti-Firestone members here but I just wanted to write my positive experience with them.
