TAKO or KM2??

Got the quotes from the local tire shop for some 285/75r16 BFG:

All-Terrain T/A KO $1140 CAD
Mud-Terrain KM2 $1360

the price included installation and balance.

which one should a get?? Daily driving the most and a lot of snow in winter.
the Mud tires will be absolutely looked the best but is the KO more suitable for the road condition and daily driving propose?

 

For daily driving, I'd go with the ATs. No experience with the BFGs in the snow, but lots of guys are running them and they are a proven tire.

I'm looking into the KM2's myself

 

I have had both of these wheels on my last truck, a 2005 Silverado. First I had the KM2's and I liked them a lot, they werent too loud on the road and they were great off road. However, they were very difficult to balance and made for a less than smooth ride if you were driving on the high way and they were AWFUL in even the smallest amount of snow or ice. I WOULD not buy them if you are concerned with your safety in snow. I sold my KM2's when I upgraded from 285's to 315's and got the All Terrains. These were the best tire I have ever had. They were great in the snow, great on long high way rides, annnnd I even took them in the mud and they were great. BFG's big thing with their tread pattern is that the tires will not cake up with mud and they will continuously push excess mud out... which they did. I would definitely go with the All Terrains. I will be getting some for my new (to me) tacoma
