17" TRD sport stock wheels

    OME 3"=NitroCharger front and rear shocks, 885 front coil springs, Dakar leaf springs
    I'm trying to go the cheaper route and keep the stock 17'' TRD sport wheels but it seems like everybody is running aftermarket wheels? Is it possible to run 33's on these wheels or are the options so limited guys are just opting to through down the extra cash? any help would be appreciated or a redirect to an earlier posting! thanks

    no you wont, I can take my spacers off right now and theres NO rub, only used spacers to push wheels out for wider stance.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I'm ordering my lift today so after installing it myself and then having the shop fix what I jacked up I should have some pictures up! What size spacers are you using Sheppy?

    I don't have any spacers in, but only rubs on extremely sharp turns

    Just Ordered my OME 3" lift and spidertrex spacers from www.NorthRidge4x4.com ( a jeep parts store out of seattle but very knowledgeable and well stocked with tacoma parts) They recommneded the spacers so I would have no problems with rubbing while the suspencion was flexed and the wheels were cranked. It sounds liek 85% of the time there won't be a problem but that 15% you wish you had that extra room?

    5100's all the way around. Front set at .85. Camburg Spindles. Camburg Uniball 1.25 UCA's. Total Chaos LCA skid plates. Custom Deaver 10 pack rear leaf spring. BFG AT KO's 285/70/17, Weathertech floor liners, Wet Okoles. Midland CB/PA, Firestick.
    I am running 285/70/17's on stock rims... I like the look... Camburg Spindles and Camburg Upper Control arms (Uniball 1.25).

    I would say order the spacers. You can't go wrong that way and I wish I had them

    Did you do any trimming when you were rubbing with the 265/70/17?

    I just recently got my new rims on, and there is little trimming and doesn't rub. If you are running stock rims I'd definitely get spacers
