help with the right lug nuts

i have moto metals, and i bought them used. they came with the acorn style spline drive lug nuts. im getting a fuck of a shake with my truck, so is it possible that my truck needs the spline drive extra thread lug nuts to help center the wheel? i know this thread may be redundant, and KPT may point that out a few times lol but im getting frustrated with these wheels.

I'm not familiar with moto metals, but sometimes the wheel makers have little metal rings available to use during install to make sure it is centered properly.
Can't remember the correct name for them.

The extended thread lugs would certainly help center the wheel if that turns out to be cause of your vibes.

I run them even though my wheels are hubcentric, just because i like having the extra thread on our notoriously short wheel studs.
