Small 285's?

I've seen a few post of people running 285/75r16 tires on stock wheels and 2.5-3" of lift, with no wheel spacers. The last one I read was using Revos. Anyone know which 285s in an AT tire run on the small side and likely will work without wheel spacers?

Also the reason they weren't hitting the UCA was likely because they were overinflated by 10+ pounds, combined with the shape of the sidewall of the revo's (which is what you were getting at in your OP)
