So I pulled the trigger on a set of 17" Pro Comp 7089's.

I am lifting 1.75" fr and 1.5" rr.

Whats the largest tire I can fit?

    275/70/17?

That might be pushing it. 265/70/17 will have no issues, and 285/70/17 will rub like hell.

Just thought I would post an updated pic of the new set up.

I went conservative 265/70/17 with the tires. Currently 1.75" but will be going 2.5" in the front with Eibach springs.

I am lifted 1.75" on stock springs and going to order the Eibachs. Also I have to install the Taco lean spacer.

The tires are BFG AT KO's but they have a whole lot more tread than the factory ones ever did.

Check out 255/75/17 BFG KO. You can get jeep take offs at a pretty decent price. I got 5 tires with 200 miles on them for $550 plus shipping.

The larger size tire would be nice but I don't want to kill my MPG any worse.

I picked up my tires brand new for $675 from a TW member: Sherman, he must have an in with the tire company.

I've got the TSB springs in the back. I'm really hoping that they don't settle too much 'cause I'm just about level right now (maybe a 1/4" to a 1/2" taller in the rear).

    Rims are 17x8 with 4.5 back-spacing.

I know this is a bumped old thread, but i'll add that I recently mounted 275/65/18's (close to 275/70/17's) with 1.75 lift and had only minor trimming to get them to stop rubbing at full lock.

I had to remove my front mud flap (the one that attaches to the front bumper) with my 31.5" tires with a 2" leveling kit after my alignment was done. So I wouldn't go much further than that. 32" is an absolute maximum.
