rustoleum universal.....it has held up extremely well for my rims. A few light coats and I havnt needed to touch mne up at all.....well over 2 years

I just painted my aluminum motorcycle rims with the krylon fusion paint . Satin black they look amazing and they supposed to be chip resistant after 7 days . So far 2 weeks no chips

I painted mine with 3 coats of rustoleum primer and 3 coats of restoleum enamel. No chipping after a year.

I haven't painted any rims but I do like Rustoleum Universal. You can spry in any direction and the paint seams thicker so it's easier to avoid runs.

Haha you're probably right, but I'm keeping it on there until it looks bad. Then if I'm not feeling lazy I do the hard work of sanding, priming, painting, and then clear coating lol

id go with powder coat, expensive but i think it would be worth it in the lone run. iv always wanted to have my stock alloys powder coated black iv seen it twice and think it looks amazing

How many coats did you do and how long did it take for one coat to dry? Also, did you use the flat black and how many cans did you need?
