    Hey Guys,

New here - impressed with the forums so far though.

I have a dilemma here...I have a 2009 Double Cab 2WD PreRunner - with stock wheels / tires, the original tires are well beyond ready to be replaced so I need to do this in a couple weeks.

I am going to be getting Michelin Latitude Tour 275/55/18's. These are a wider tire, but not in height, I am upgrading from a 16" wheel to 18". I'm a little bit concerned about them rubbing on turns...does anyone have a setup like this and possible pictures?

I've attached pics of the tires and wheels I am getting.

    Thank in advance...anything helps!

That's a pretty weird size. Have you considered a 265/65/18? That's what I've got, check my build.

Nice build. You don't have a lift on your's? I guess the reason I'm leaning toward that size is I really wanted more width on my tires more than anything.

I do have a lift, but my tires didn't rub before the lift.

Some folks have fit 285/60/18s without a lift. They are wide but only a 32" tire s they don't rub the ucas.

Ok - nice. Good to know. I've ordered color matching door handles from trdparts4u.com ...was just curious where you had purchased your mirrors from? I know you had to paint them. I have a super white tacoma as well.

I bought cheap chrome mirror covers on ebay. Sanded and painted them white.
