What is the backspacing of your wheels?

4.5" backspacing is stock for 1st gen. I think that's going to be too much. I believe guys running that wide a tire (around a 295) are in the 3.75" BS range.

It's going to be close with a 4.5" BS I'm running 33/12.5's with a 3.75 BS and I rub the frame at full lock and full compression but it's not bad on the street I would never hit.

from the online tire size calculator

I got the tires for 700 dollars with only a 1000 miles on them so I really wanna use them. I haven't bought any wheels yet I'm just tryin to figure out the spacing. It's the 18x9 monster XD wheel. What would you recommend?

Well you might be SOL on the wheels but you can get wheels with a 5.25" and 1.5" wheel spacers to put your BS to 3.75" that's if they make those wheels in a 5.25" BS

If they are 9" wide, then the -12 will be the 4.5" backsapcing. The other offsets are even higher backspacing, so they aren't an option.

I have 305/70/16 on 16x9 wheels with the -12 offset and 4.5 BS at full lock I rub just a bit and off road just on small trail out on our hunting lease I rub a lot. I have a suspension lift as well as a body that will be coming off soon. When I comes off I will do a lot of hacking to get them to fit but my next set of tires I believe will be 285/75.

Would I be better off selling the tires and down sizing or try and make them work
