My new wheels are coming in 5 days. Does anyone know if my stock lug nuts will work with these wheels? I didnt order the trd wheel kit. It was 108 plus shipping. I was trying to save some money hopeing my stock lugs will work.

265/70R16 Cooper SST, or Bfg's Rugged Trails, or Yokohama AT-S?

That'd be your best bet. Post some pics of the truck when you get them on

I'm gonna get the stock 265/70R16 BFG rugged trail. Its from a friend of mine. Should I go with white wall or black wall out on my super white trd sport.

Not free just really cheap. My friend is selling it to me for 300 with only 1500 miles on it. Came off his 2011. I didn't buy it yet tho as I'm still researching tires.

People on here call them rugged fails... I didn't know why until I slid into a turn on wet pavement that I usually gripped on (old truck good tires). After that I said new tires.

How much tread was on there? I might have to reconsider than.

Good ammount. They have a bad rep on this sight. Never even got to see them offroad (thank god).

I purchased a new T/X TRD Tacoma last week and had the dealer remove the Rugged Trails before I even picked up the truck. Had them install Goodyear Duratrac 265/75/16. My wife had them on her Pathfinder and they were terrible! Lasted all but 20,000 miles

I'm sticking to stock tires size because I'm going to be driving my truck daily also to avoid alignment problems and gas mpg's. I'm also looking at bridgestone Dueler revo 2 tires. Anyone have any thougthts on the Revo 2?

Dude, rugged trails are horrible and for $300 for a set its not worth it. I get better traction with mud terrain tires on wet/dry/offroad than the rugged fails. They are a death trap, DO NOT USE THEM.

    Iam in Bothell, WA.

You'll love the new wheels, Easy to clean etc.I picked up a basically new set/tires for a great price with TRD lugs. I ditched/sold the rugged fails and went with 265/75-16 Hankooks Dyna Pro's and have been happy with them, they are on a 2011 DC SB TRD Sport. Make sure whoever mounts and balances them either removes the beadlock ring or knows what they're doing so they aren't damaged when mounting.

I'll post up a pic of my truck later.:D

Picking up my wheels tomorrow and have not decided which tires to go with. Bridgestone Revo 2, BFG All-terrain, Yokohama At-s, Cooper SST, and Toyo open country AT.
