12.5" wide tires on 8" wide rim???

    Hey guys, can you (eh... is it safe to) run a 12.5" wide tire (33x12.5x15 Duratracs) on a 8" (15x8 Granite Alloy GA9) rim? I've seen some people with it, but it just seems scary. Opinions? Fast would be nice, I'm planning on ordering them tonight.

    im perfectly fine same rims same tires... and like cat crazed said theyll just wear in the center more, i aired down to 30 lbs i think and about a 1/2" of tread on the outside of the tire is not quite touching road surface

    33x12.50 on 15x8 is what I'm running. I run my tires at lower PSI to compensate for the arch created by the 8" wheels. No problems!
