Just ordered guard dogs in 265/75/16, they say 1-2 weeks. Having surgery this week, so gonna be several weeks before I can get them mounted. It gives me time to decide on my wheels (cant wait to get rid of these chrome clad wheels). Love the look and the price of these.....the gal told me on the phone they are a 40-50k tire, we'll see!

I just ordered the guards also 255/75 17. Seems like everyone in here has done well with the tires so far. If I had a better paying job I would probably have invested in a new tire but budget put these in grasp.

asside from chunking tread lugs, the at/mt and tread designs don't really have much to do with durability. the casings that treadwright uses are jsut more durable than the duratrac casings. in the common sizes (265 and 285) they use Nitto at, BFG at, and Toyo AT casings. i haven't talked to them for a while, but those are the three they told when they use when i bought mine a little over a year ago. i wanted the nittos, but they were out, so i went with the BFGs. still very durable.

For you guys looking for budget M/T tires, keep your eye on craigslist for Jeep Rubicon take offs. The BFG M/Ts are always on Craigslist out here, presumably because someone buys the Rubicon and then realize that the M/Ts are horrible for a daily driver.

My 35's were 75 pounds each.

Pretty sure it will depend on the sidewall they use to start with.

I'm resurrecting an old thread...anyone else have these? I've read very good reviews around the web...wanted to see if any fellow Tacoma owners who actually wheel have used these?

I loved my 3 sets. They didn't make 37's when I went to that size so I don't have them now.

30K miles and no issues. Might have some difficulties balancing but just follow the directions.

Just a little. If you look at the pics below you will see my badly bent stock axle. The badly bent rear frame when the bumps hit and caused the damage.
