I ordered a set of Hankook 265 75 16's yesterday $147 each from discounttires.com . They called today and said they were out of stock and didn't know when they would be available. My salesman said they would discount my second choice. They offered Falken Rockey Mountain ATS for the same price they are normally $163 each. They offered me Nitto Terra Graplers for about $100 off. I don't know what to do They said they would give me a deal on any tires I chose. Any suggestions?

SAME BS Discount did to me last Feb... Gave me a good Hankook price ($130 ea), I said ok, the guy checked his computer for the inventory and said... "oh, looks like the Hankooks are a dicsontinued tire due to poor quality... hey we have a better tire FALKINS!"

I cryed BS, and left Discount, drove to a tire dealer nearest my house who stocked them, and I had them on that day ($140 ea)! The Hankooks are an awesome, inexpensive All Terrain tire so far (11,000 miles off road and on).

all-terrain-t-a-ko_7a3bc03a30a47e8c73add0b4e9bfa60de5111a56.jpg I just ordered these. They should be here Tues. or Wed. I ended up paying $700 with valve stems. Pretty good deal, I think.

Grab the terra grapplers if the price is right. They are a really good tire after about 35k mi they loose their performance but thats two yrs of driving time. By then you will waant more aggresive tires from all the mods you have done.

Are those your only 2 options? I don't have any experience with the terra grapplers, but I have heard lots of good things about them. If they'll give you a discount on a different tire though, I would definitely recommed bfg a/t's, as said above. My sister has them on her FJ, and I know a lot of people that run the bfg a/t's and they are a great performing, quiet, long-lasting all terrain. They are usually a little pricey, but I would definitely go with them if you can get a discount.

That's kind of the impression i've gotten too. I don't have any personal experience with them, but I haven't heard very many good things

BFG AT's. Great traction, low noise and about 35K miles on them and still going strong.

I ordered them and had them shipped for that price. A local garage is going to mount and balance them for $68. But I can show yuo the invoice for the tires and valve stems.
