Thank you fro the additional info. Just so we are on the same page your wheels do have 5 lugs and not 6 correct? My system shoes all 5 lug applications in that year came with 14" wheels stock.

Those are nice looking wheels. Do you have those in for the '02 Tacoma TRD (6x5.5) with black caps?

Actually I think I found them.

Soft 8s only fit in the 5 lug taco... in the 6 lug taco, the dimple dies hit the brake vein on the caliper...

if you search TTORA and CustomTacos, you can find threads on how much of the brake caliper you can shave off to clear, but be warned, some in the past shaved off too much and dropped more money on replacing the rotors than the wheels were worth...

No, the Crager Soft 8 and the Unique 297 are the same wheel with a different logo. They will hit your brakes. You are better off spending a hair more and getting a lighter weight aluminum wheel that will clear.

Sorry for the confusion! We got confused on the replys here.

The Soft 8s will clear your application (5-114.3). They won't work on Tacoma 6 lug applications.

    ***JUST an FYI***

I spoke with my fitment department to confirm that the 15x8 Soft 8 works on the 5 lug Taco and was told that this will most likely rub on the Calipers as well. Has anyone run this size/model wheel without grinding the calipers or running spacers?
