New tires for my taco

Hi guys-first post here.
I have a 2012 4cyl access cab 4x4 and I'm looking to put bigger tires on it. My buddy has 275/70/R17's at the dealership he works at that he can get me for a reasonable price, Does anyone know if these will fit my taco without rubbing? I currently have the stock 265/75/R16's and don't have any plans to raise my truck.

Congrats on the new truck, I say they probably fit if not you can do some trimming

Whippersnapper: the wheels were take-off's from another car (not sure which car exactly but they look like 4runner rims) so they also come with rims which is a big plus.

Wolfpack: Thanks for the link to Bob's post and the correction. I actually found Bob's post before but I wasn't sure how the 275/70/R17's compared to 265/70/17. I think they are 1/2" taller but not positive whether this would cause any rubbing.
I'm reluctant to do any trimming on the new taco...

 

Just stop by,bolt them on, see if they rub. If they don't, buy them.

 

x2. but trimming wouldnt be so bad.. might just need to ditch the mud flaps

 

those 4x4 mud flaps are a beautiful thing. I'll see if the Toyota dealership will slap them on for me without charging me 80 thousand dollars in labor fees.
