    Hi All,

I'm doing a 3" lift on my 1996 Tacoma shortly. I have 31x10.5" tires now that are pretty close to gone. Lifting the truck now, then replacing the tires early next year.

I bought the truck mainly for winter driving. That's the reason I am interested in 33x10.5's to maintain some winter traction.

33x12.5's are a more popular, hence a cheaper tire.

Question is will I notice a huge difference between the two? Will the 2" make me float that much more in the snow?

    Thank you,

    Andrew

I am not sure about how much more, but a skinnier tire would be better for penetration in inclement weather as well as less rolling resistance.
