i have 16x7 factory steels and have been thinking of upgrading the wheels and tires eventually, but i noticed the 16x8 wheels seem to make the tires stick out farther. Only reason I'm concerned about them sticking out is because I have a stock suspension and i dont want the truck to look "skateboarded" if you know what I mean....thanks !!! Does anyone make 16x7 aftermarket alloys? :sadviolin:

16x8 wouldnt nesessarily make the tires stick out a lot. it depends on the backspacing

The factory whels are 16x7, 5.5" backspacing.

Most aftermarket wheels you will find will be 16x8, 4.5" backspacing. Which sticks out 2" more than stock.

I've never heard of an aftermarket wheel that's 16x7. So your best bet would be a wheel that is 16x8 with 5.5" BS, that will stick out only 1" further than stock.
