    Hey experts!

Many nights of searching here and finally pulled the trigger on new tires & TPMS's. I got Stock 16"TRD wheels from a seller here, and just bought OEM replacement TPMS's ftom Tirerack ($85/ea vs Dealership $117ea) I got 275/75/R16 Duratrac's from a Goodyear retailer on end of year special.

I plan on mounting the TPMS's myself and then having the tires mounted.

Has anyone used and confirmed compatibility with the dealer reset when using the Tirerack replacements?

It would suck to have done all this only for the dealer to say they wont work.

    Thanks

How much were your tires? I've been looking these tires myself and wondering what Goodyear might have them running for.

I looked at it every way I could think of....

At Tirerack 219 ea with shipping
At goodyear 215 ea retail, then 15 off each through 12/31
    Sears (yes sears) 218 ea

I also got a "tread lightly" membership to access the 100 off a set of 4 goodyears by 12/31

I figure I'm in 179 each after discounts.
I plan on sellign my stock steelies with TPMS installed and 1/2 tread tires for around 300....

load range C By the way

    I didn't think they made a 275/75/16. Did you mean 265/75/16 ?

futpot is your truck lifted are you running stock? i want put on 265 and I understand they fit fine with the stock wheels, but I am worried once I upgrade wheels the tires will rub without a lift.

    No lift, stocksuspension.
I'm going to do BS 5100's in the spring to keep teh tires from cupping, there are 63K on the OEM shocks.

Here are some things I learned..
    1) The Tirerack TPMS's (made by Pacific and in Toyota OEM boxes) are considered "afermarket" by the dealership, though they did program fine.
    2) in order to enter the codes for the new TPMS's the wheels need to be mounted on the truck (ground path)
    3) The steel wheels with 245/65R16 weigh 61lbs each, the Duratrack's on 16" OEM TRD wheels weight 64 lbs each
    4) the Duratracks do Humm a bit
