ok new tire time! I have a 04 Prerunner 4dr. I dont go off roading much at all but i need an a/t for work and they just look good. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions that wouldnt drain my pocket completly. Ive been looking at Rugged Trails and BFG A/T KO's but id like some more opinions on some different things. a I'd also like to here what yall have to say about the rugged trails because I havent heard much about them. Do they do OK off Road? Do they wear alrite? And all and all would you recomend them?

    Thanks yall
    AJ

Rugged trails are also called rugged fails. I've seen what they do off road. In the dry conditions they suck ass.

I'd reccomend BFG at KO's. They are an aggressive looking, relatively cheap, and last a long time. Love mine.

I just read some reviews on the Wilpdpeaks and they sound like they are well worth the money, Did you have any problem balancing them?

another vote for the hankooks. these are awesome tires. you'll also save a bunch of money buying these because they are alot cheaper than bfgs or other comparable size tires.

    Tacoma7_9aa0ed0d55f14121c0afa1fd0f3438b657cf04e4.jpg

also, no at is going to perform as well in the mud as a true mt tire. but you will trade on road performance if you go the mt route. there's no tire that will do it all. you have to pick and prioritize what is most important to you.

well I've looked all over Discount Tire and these are what Ive narrowed it down to.

    Wildpeak A/T- $172

Rocky Mountain ATS- $167 (does anyone know anything about them?)

    General Grabber AT2 Studdable- $148 ( again I know othing bout them,but
    they look sweet)

DynaPro ATM RF10- $152 ( I have read countless reviews and not one has
had anything bad to say about them)

Nitto Terra Grappler A/T- $172 (My buddy runs these and swears by them,
I've seen the stuff they can go thru and they
go pretty much anywhere frim what ive seen)

Sorry about all of yall that are partial to the BFG'S but damn $238 is more than i can afford

Just got these today. Had the Nittos and they don't last very long. Go buy the Hankooks. Much quieter than the Nittos as well.
