Best wheel width for a 12.5" wide tire.

What's the best wheel width for a 12.5"wide tire? I want the tire to stick out past the wheel enough to protect the wheel, but not stick out so much to look funny.

On the tire manufactuers website, it will list the approved rim widths for each size tire.

+1. A 10" would be the best match but a 9" would look really good too. Anything narrower than an 8" or wider than a 10" will look silly.

7 is to little 10 is when the tire stops sticking out enough to protect the rim. 8 is known as poor mans beadlocks because the tire is stuffed into it so much i probably wont come off easily at low psi. It is possible to stuff it into a 7 incher but not many tire shops will do it.
