No cap definitely looks the best, good decision.

Level 8 needs a redesign on some of their centrecaps, no question

Just installed the Level 8 Strike 6 wheels, with chrome lugs. Like 'em a LOT. We mounted the stock tires (245), but plan to install 265/70-16 when these wear out. The TPMS from the original steel wheels fit perfectly (thanks, Pat!), so that was a nice surprise, and a money saver. Great service from the guys at Dicsount Tire Direct, and our local installers at America's Tire.

Thank you for supporting this forum, and providing great information.

BTW, I posted the pics of our new Jeep Patriot wheels/tires up on this forum (http://www.jeeppatriot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=103233&page=5). Thanks for that package too!

Someone asked awhile back about pics of how far they stick out. The tires are BFGoodrich All Terrains in 265/70r17. That's about as big as I wanna go, because anything wider isn't so hot for a Pennsylvania winter.

    As requested....

Are you on stock height? Any rubbing? I am guessing 4x4 is higher than a Pre-Runner? Can somebody confirm?

For the Guardian level 8 size 16x8.5, would I be able to run the stock 245/75/16? Plan to run 265/75/16 in the future. I have a dcsb 2012 Pre-runner.

The 245/75R16 tire size is only recommended for up to a 8.5" wide wheel. I'd recommend installing your new wheels when you are ready to install new tires at the same time.

Does anyone know if the 265/65/17 tires I have on my trd sport rims would fit on the 17 inch guardians?

Yes, you could run the 16x8.5 Guardian with your stock suspension and stock 16" tires.

    Yes, these would fit.

There has been a lot of questions about rubbing with 265/70/17 tires. I have the guardians with 4.5bs with Bfg at and do have some rubbing. I did some minor trimming but something still rubs somewhere. It is only when backing up and at full lock. I hope this helps. I plan on doing something to the suspension soon there are just too many choices and I want toile sue and do it right the first time. I hope this helps

Okay one more question, I see a lot of options under the 17 inch, would it be the 6-139.7 -6 offset? Or should I get a different one?

Yes, the 17x8.5 -6mm is the one you want.

Yes, but you may have some minor rubbing. Jeff has this set up and has had to make some modifications. See quote below. If you have any rubbing you can make modifications as jeff has or you can install a mini lift or leveling kit.

    Thank you for chiming in.
