For anyone who is interested.I bought a set of BFG Rugged Terrain A/T tires last June and 4000 miles ago.I'm running 33lbs of air in them, and at 3000 miles I checked the tread depth and all four corners were wearing the same. They are still quiet on the highway and still handle well, especially in the rain.We finally got snow two days ago (Maine) 4-6 inches and imo the tires performed as well as any I have run in the past. However i'm thinking around 200lbs. of weight over the rear axle will improve traction. My road wasn't plowed and there is a stop sign on an incline,I wasn't in 4x4 so the truck did loose traction on acceleration, hench the weight idea.I don't do the extreme off road thing, so I can't speak on that.I do think a person would be in trouble, if they were to use these tires for anything but on road and very light off road. For what I do these tires are preforming well, hope this update helps.

Can you post some pics of the tires on the truck? What size do you have?

Thanks for the update. I know there are other member here asking about the Rugged Terrain's snow performance.
