The differences between 245/75/16 and 265/75/16 with pictures
Since I was once one of those guys that wanted to know the differences between 245/75/16 and 265/75/16 tires and the looks, I figured I would post pictures of them side by side. On the left are the stock 245/75/16 Dunlop tires. On the right are the 265/75/16 Firestone Winterforce tires. AlthoughI haven't been too hard on it lately as my two commutes with the new tires were both highway there have been ABSOLUTELY NO rubbing issues as of yet and I don't expect there to be any as well. (I know the pics are screwed up, but I'm stuck at work until midnight so I'll have to adjust them when I get home. I'll try to get them all the same size later.)

Looks 1000x times better with the new tires. I am stuck with the stock dunlops for a while, they've only got 10000 on them, but I'm going with 275/75R/16's when they wear out (or if they scare me in the snow). Nice pics, and good post.

I drove the stock tires in the snow once and didn't like it. The new ones are much better and the winter has only just begun!!!!

Finally got a chance to fix the crappy picture cropping that I did earlier. Hope these are better for anyone that is looking to upgrade their stock tires.

I'm thinking of making this exact same move.
How much of a power loss have you experienced? How about MPG? |

Wow! Is the front mounted or just rolled up next to truck? It looks like the fronts just filled up the wheel well while the backs not so much. I was hoping for more of a gap in the front with your setup. I have eibachs and want 5100s and a 33" tire.

Neat. I bought some cheap TRD offroad rims to replace my steelies, and just need to figure out what tires to get.
Can I ask what tires those are? |
