I am getting new wheels for my 04 DC Pre and am thinking of sizing up to 17" MT Classic II vs 16 (stock). I am sure it has been asked many many times before, but just wanted to hear it again. I will be driving highway only and MPG and noise are things that matter to me, not offroad etc...

I am sure the tires chosen matter more than the wheel size...BFG AT or Firestone Dest are candidates

    Build thread in sig...
expect to pay around $150-$200 more per set of tires when using 17s over 16s. the plus side to 17s though is that they handle slightly better on road. you'll notice it most on turns.
