what is the best backspacing

hello everyone i have been doing some research on backspacing and offset but i still dont know what backspacing or what offset I should get. I want to run a 33x13.50R16 on a 16x10 rim but i dont know the proper backspacing to use. Can you help me or give me any information that could help me. thanks

That's a really odd tire size. Why do you want to go so wide? You are going to rub like crazy no matter what backspacing or lift you have.

4" backspacing is probably what you should get. I've seen a few 16" rims that come with 3.75 backspacing which would help to push the tire out a little bit, but that backspacing is harder to find on a 16" rim.

thanks, i figured i would but i like the look of kinda low and wide so i was gonna through a 3in body on there when i get the money for the rims but i guess i will have to go with the 33x12.50 tire instead

Go with the 33X12.5 with a 3.75 BS. you might still rub a little though

the farther out your wheels are the more stress it puts on your wheel bearings. if you wanna go that wide then get a lift and trim your quarter panels. or if your not too rough on your truck you could get wheel spacers but those also put more stress on suspension parts

i figured i would put a 1in spacer or less on it with a 12.50 but no more than 1", i dont do a whole lot of wheeling the occasional mud puddle here and there and a ditch or two

The spacer will make the rubbing worse.

You can't really pull off the super-wide look on these trucks without fiberglass fenders or cutting your stock fenders.
