I have a set of 16" Dick Cepek DC1 (believe there 16x8"). I had them on my colorado, sold that and got a real truck.

Anyhow, right now I have my winter tires on so I haven't driven with the DC'1s but I tried them on. They fit with no rubbing, but there is not much space between the caliper and the rim, perhaps 3mm-4mm at most.

Anyone know if this spacing is okay, or anyone else have any experience with the 16" DC'1s on a Tacoma, specifically the 09, double cab, TRD sport.

Also I noticed that the 255/70/16 Goodyear Wrangler RTS looked like they were squishing out a lot when I put one on, but perhaps it was the way it was sitting. It has a load index of 109 - or 1030kg per tire. 4120 total KG and the trucks only around 18-1900kg? I do tow a trailer every once in a while, about (1800kg) 4000lbs. Don't go terribly long distances, very longest is about 60km.
