Spidertrax?

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the center bore front lip of a spidertrax spacer. I am not sure my new wheels will fit the outter lip of the spacer. Thanks

 

I believe it is 106mm

Yes, it will be the same as the hub diameter. The outer ring keeps the wheel mounting point hubcentric.

 

ok yeah my new wheels are 3" in diameter.

 

Guess I will have to settle for some non hubcentric spacers

 

If they have a 3" hub bore then they are Chevy wheels, not Toyota.

 

yeah they are. they came off my old sierra that I sold before I bought the toyota.

 

Depending on the width and backspacing of the wheels, adding spacers may cause rubbing on the outer edge of the tire.

 

You seem like an expert. If I were to get you some dimensions would you because to tell me what size spacer would be best?

 

If you can give me the tire size, amount of lift, and any numbers stamped on the wheel, we can figure out a plan.

Also since you are planning on mounting these lug centrically, you should get extended thread lug nuts to be sure the wheel gets centered on the studs.

 

Wheels are 17x9.5 with a 5.5 offset
I have 285/70r17
I have 5100 with 885 and LR UCA in the front
5125 with icon 3 leaf progressive in the rear

 

I was going to go with 1" spacer and know I am going to need to trim a bit

 

5.5" backspacing, not offset.

Yeah this isn't going to work out very well. If you add a 1.25" spacer to get the tires far enough away from the ucas, and to clear the hub ring, that will put the outer edge of those wheels almost 4" further out than stock. That's going to take a lot of cutting and grinding to make it so the tires don't rub the fenders.

Ideal specs for that setup would be a 4.5" backspaced, 8-9" wide wheel.

 

A 1" spacer will clear the hub ring. I dont see why the 1" spacer wont clear the UCA?

 

Can you run 1" spacer with stock wheels?

I read the Measuring sticky and I was take my measurements using the outside edges so the wheel must be 17x9 and the backspacing is 5"

 

You can't measure the width of a wheel without dismounting the tire. That's why i asked you for the stamped codes on the wheel.
