American Racing Outlaw II's

Is anyone here running the American Racing Outlaw II's on a second generation? Just want to make sure they don't rub? They don't come up that they fit according to American Racing's site but I believe some guys have them.

Never seen a 2nd gen with them, which leads me to believe they don't clear the calipers.

There's a two wheel drive second gen on the Timerland Mica thread but not sure if there's a difference in the caliper. Would imagine so.

On the 5 lugs? Yeah there's a big difference. They come stock with 15s actually.

If you are still looking for wheels, here's a new 17" Outlaw II replica made by Ultra wheels. The only place that lists this wheel in 17" is Tire Rack. I haven't called them yet to confirm, but I think I'm going this route when I order new wheels. I really like the look without the caps. Another member on here has the 16" American Racing Outlaw II's on his 2nd gen 4x4, but they came on the truck when he bought it and he was unsure if the calipers had been ground or not. He did say it only cleared by a hair. The only difference between the Ultra's and the AR Outlaw II's is the backspacing. The Outlaw II's are 4.5" (16x8 with 0 offset) and the Ultra's are 4.92" (17x8 with +10mm offset). Therefore, 265's would be the widest tire that would work with the Ultra's without hitting the UCA's.

How far off are they? Just watch you don't get the SpiderTrax and because of backspacing you're so far out that you rub on everything except an exit ramp. That's what happened to me. I ended up using 1/4" spacers on my Eagle rims.

My backspacing on the Eagles was 4.0. My backspacing on the Mickey Thompson's is 3.625. Clearing by a good amount now. Stance is really nice too.

Little late with my reply, but I'm running 16" outlaw II, that is, until I change them out for 20s soon
