Mastercraft courser A/T?

Anyone have good/bad experiences with these tires? The one thing I have found is feedback that the shoulder lugs tend to chip when on rocks.

If it makes you feel any better, I believe Mastercraft is a Cooper brand. Townfair tire tried talking me into that tire, I ended up going with Coopers because I found a good deal through their price match program.

 

I had MAstercraft Courser Ats on my truck before I lifted, and I can tell you, those tires are GREAT! I did have a little chipping of the lugs, but I had them on for about 30k miles before I took them off, and they still have half or more tread left. I still have them sitting in my shed for when my Nittos wear out. Great tires imo.

 

Thanks for the input guys. Basically, NTB will put 265/75/16 nitto terra grapplers on for $840. and Townfairtire will put mastercraft coursers AT2's on for $760.. can't decide which way to go.

 

What load range tire? I paid about that much for 265/70r17 tires, I would have guessed tires for a 16" rim would be cheaper.

 

Don't know on the load rating. they both seem like they are giving me the "better" tire, because they are quoting a higher speed rating..lol.
It's a truck, over 80 is not an option..

 

Don't worry about the speed rating. Look at the temperature rating, load index and wear rating (rated mileage).

Mine are P-rated (Passenger tires), LT (Light Truck) tires will be heavier and will have a letter next to them, C, D or E. D or E rated tires will be what you'd typically find on a 3/4 ton or 1 ton pickup but some poeple on here do run them.
