Alright guys, I have a 2011 double cab trd. I have decided I am going to throw a 2" lift on the front and leave the back where it is. I currently have the 17" trd wheels. I want to purchase all-terrain tires.

Here's my first question: Should I keep the 17" wheels I have and find tires that they will fit on or should I go smaller on the wheels? My thinking here is that since I'm not doing a big lift I am not going to be able to get huge tires. If i drop to 16's then I will have more sidewall and they will look beefier.

Secondly, with a 2 inch lift in the front and the back staying how it is. What is the largest size all-terrain tires you guys would suggest? And if you guys have any brands/models of tires or wheels you can recommend I would appreciate it.

My truck will be black on black on black on black. [:

Just bought 265/75-16 Goodyear Duratrac and I really like them so far. They don't really make hardly any road noise and seem to have good reviews. As for wheels 17" seems to be easier to find nice ones but I have found some really good 16" ones as well..... I just Google, and search around on RE and when you findwhat you like then start price shopping.

    265/70/17 if you stay stock

265/75/16 if you get new rims

Just stick it out unless you don't like the stock wheels. If you don't mind them get some 265/70s
