BFG Rugged Terrain

Finally hit the magic number 40,000 Miles!! Time for New TIRES!

Now, I've had a 3" spacer lift in front and 1.5" AAL in the back since 5,000 miles - with zero issues, mind you - and would love to fill out the wheel wells. I also already have spider trax spacers on.

As a married father of 3, and the only income in my house, I'm on a tight budget.

I of course like the usually KM2's, Duratracs, etc... But the reality is 99.9 percent of driving I do is highway!

I found a decent deal on the new BFG rugged terrains locally for 800 installed.

What do you guys think about this tire? Anyone had them / have them? Anyone run the 285/70/17 on stock sport wheels? I'd love to see a pic.

we have them on a company truck(06?chevy xtra cab 2wd)and they seem ok.driven them in snow and rain,work like every other a/t in those conditions imo.

 

guy I work with has them on his truck, my dads going to put them on his truck in a few weeks..They seem to be good tires, and have a 50,000 mile warrenty.

 

WOW you must really put on the miles. BFG Rugged Terrain just came out last year. Did you mean Rugged Trail?

 

i think he wants to get the terrains now...........since he wore the trails out at 40,000

 

Hey guys I always told myself I at least need to get 40k out of the stock dunflops although they do have a lot of life left... Yes looking for the trucks first replacement set of tires and considering rugged terrains.

 

i think you'll like them,why.......i dont know?i would consider them for the right price
