265/70/16 tires/wheels set

A local guy is selling his set of tires/wheels (comes with sensors) for $500. The set has about 1k miles and comes off a 2012 4x4 Off Road. My stock set is 245/75/16 from a SR5 model. Mine has 6 lugs. I am not sure how many lugs his has .

Would the tire sensor need to be reprogrammed? Is the set worth the price?

Our local dealership reprogrammed for $110 (and yes you have to have it done if you want it to work correctly)

Pay $40 more for:

http://www.tpms-tool.com/TPMS-tool-ATEQ-quickset.php

and never have to deal with the dealer again for changing sets of rims. I want to do this for two sets of rims. It also keeps the dealer/techs out of my truck.

We should all chip in for one of these and ship it around to share for people swapping rims. I'm in for $10.

Take it to a tire shop before going to the stealership. I highly recommend Discount Tire. Don't know how much they will charge but I'm sure they will be cheaper than the stealership.

His have six lugs and you should definitely jump all over this (if yours have six lugs). The tires alone are worth over $600, not to mention what the rims are worth. This is an awesome deal.

I have six lugs. They should fit right (the spacing the same)? He is a little a bit far (100 miles away). Would I also need his set of lug nuts too ?
