Nice, i just found out these tires exist last night. Post pics when you get em on. Id like to know how they compare to Duratracs. Seems like cooper designed them to compete with the goodyears.

Will do. From what I understand, these are eventually going to replace the Cooper STT. Which is also a great tire.

Really? The STT is more of an M/T tire. I think it would make more sense for cooper to replace the regular S/T with the S/T maxx. No point in carrying both in the line-up.

For anyone wondering what the ST Maxx looks like, it's similar to the Duratrac. Looks like it was designed to compete with it

I've had these tires almost a month now. I've only put a little over 500 miles on them and they have all been done on the highway. So far so good. They are 265/75/16 with the toytec ultimate lift.

Ok, got them on. Really love how they look. Totally changed the look of the truck. I got 265/75R16. There's little if any noise and seem to handle well. I will be testing them out at the beach the first weekend of April. As soon as I get to a computer I will upload some pictures

ive only got about 500 on mine too, have you notcied any drop in gas milage? im running 265/70/17s and my mpg has dropped about 2 miles per gallon on the first fill up. i was running the same size tire before but general at2s. i also put a lucas fuel treatment in at the same time i put the tires on so that could play a role in the drop

Well I actually "downgraded" from 285/65/18s so I've actually gained back a couple mpgs. These tires are pretty heavy though so a drop is to be expected if you're planning on running them. Have you had a chance to get them off the off the road yet?

I got these put on almost 2 months ago on my 2010 TRD off-road. So far I love how they look. I went from the 265/70r16 stock bfgoodrich to the 265/75r16 Cooper s/t Maxx. I also added a leveling kit as well that really put everything together. The truck looks a lot "beefier" now. The first week I took it out in about 8 inches of fresh powder and rarely had to put it in 4 wheel drive, I was floored. My only drawback is my gas mileage in town has gone from ok to terrible. I knew it would since its a heavy tire. I was getting about 17 and now get about 13 around town, my highway still is around 16 mpg. Overall I love them though. Very low road noise, awesome off road, and supposed to last longer than STT.

Sucks to hear about the MPG loss. Everything else sounds good. It looks like they only come in load range E or no? That lowers MPG more than than a C right?
