Nitto Terra Grapler tire pressure 265/75-R16

Hey everyone who is running this tire. Can you tell me what pressure you are running? I started out at 40psi and then moved down to 35psi and I still feel like my steering is jerky from the slightest bump or dip in the road. I had the front end aligned the day the tires were put on. 10,500 miles and these tires were put on due to bad feathering of the oem tires. The alignment tech said the alignment was out pretty bad. Any advice?
Also I haven't pulled the skid plate. Do we have a steering stabilizer shock?
There is about 500 miles on these new tires.

I have the 285/70/17's E load range. I prefer 35 PSI for daily use. Hope they dialed in your alignment and you will want to rotate them every oil change. There is no steering stabilizer shock. Do you have D or E load range tires?

That tire should ride better than the E's and 35 should be a good compromise for ride vs wear.

I live in the country so virtually everyday I drive 10-20 miles each way on farm to market roads that are in poor condition. Anyone added a steering stabilizer to there truck?

I have P rated 265/70/17 and they are at 38 now, but I'm going to try 35 and see how I like it.

Here's an offering from FabTech. Other references to this kit state that it is specifically designed for the Fabtech Crossmember in the 6" DB Lift. I couldn't find pics of it installed on a 05+ Tacoma, but if it were me, I wouldn't waste my time researching that mod, unless you use 37" or taller tires.
