Question about the jester ballistic wheels

Do the little red inserts come out of the jester wheels? It looks like there is a bolt holding them in but I cannot confirm that on any of the websites I've looked at. Also, where is the best place to buy the wheels (price, shipping, customer service, ect.)?

 

I can not speak specifically on companies and I don't deal with many for rims but maybe others can chime in. The jesters come with red or black inserts IIRC from the Rim guy in my city. They are removable(I believe) and he told me if I wanted a different color is to spray paint them because they are plastic.

I am having a hard time getting them where I live but that's probably because I'm in Canadia

 

Yeah I'm really interested in them but the paychecks are what will make it or break it on the wheels

 

Hey junebug, I have the jesters. The plastic pieces are held on by double-sided tape, I'm fairly certain. There is no fastener. Imagine they could be removed, but at 32 pieces total, it would be a chore, not to mention some may break in doing so btw, check out sandjunkie's build, he has an '11 MGM with jesters and they look great IMHO.

Yep, I have them. They are double stick tape.

 

So it would be a long process to paint them but I think out would awesome. Where did you buy them from?
