i hear a lot of talk on sizes. when people say they want 33's what does 33 mean exactly. I have stock tires that are 265 70 16 where does the 33's come into play??

the 33 is not a metric meas. it refers to the overall diameter in inches. (height). a 265/70/16 is a 30.6 inch wheel.

Guys are putting 265 75 16 tires on with a 3" lift. I would not go bigger without one.

The Mickey Thnompsons I ordered say 265/70/17 = 31.9. I think the actual overall diameter is different for every company.
