What would be a fair offer price?

I have been saving up to get some new tires for my 09 TRD Tacoma. It is almost time to replace my p265/70/16 BFG Rugged Trails. I was going to wait until the end of Summer to do so unless found a good deal. I ran across these tires & wheels on craigslist:




This is the sellers discription: Asking $1200
Tires and wheels are in great shape like new full set of 4...
90% tread brand new the tires cost $900
Ultra Rims 17 inch with 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern/ that came off of a 2011 tacoma, i ended up lifting it and went bigger tires and wheels rims are $500 new
no scraches not damaged at all, never off-road all balanced and ready to go comes with hubcaps and lug nuts
tires are 265/70/17 measure out at 31.61inches tall sidewall 7.30 inches and tire width 10.43 inches.

It would be a new wheel size for my truck, not sure how it would look... But what would you think of a fair offer price if I wanted to make a deal? or should I wait & get a New set of BFG All Terrains & keep my stock wheels? Thanks for your opinions.

 

i would say $1000 would be a fair offer. to break it down, the tires(if its really 90% tread left) is worth $700 to me and the wheels $300. make the offer if you like the wheels, otherwise, you'll end up spending more in the end.

 

Are the TPMS sensors included?

 

Damn 6-luggers have all the sweet wheel options.

 

Owner said I can take sensors off my stock & have put on new wheel. "That's what he did".

 

If your stockers are alloy, no problem.
If your stockers are steel, not exactly.

You'll have to spin them 180 degrees, and in the future, any tire installer needs to be aware of that or they'll break them removing the tires.

 

Think im gonna pass on them.
