Your looking for recommendations for A/T tires?
I'm running Yokohama Geolanders A/T. Excellent tires on and off-road...other popular choices for the size you're looking for: You could run Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, Cooper Discoverer A/T3, Nitto TerraGrappler's, Hankook Dynapro's, the list goes on and on. I picked Geolanders for the price along with the reviews.

A lot of people have nothing but good things to say about Firestones. Wolfpack this thread seems familiar..... http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/wheels-tires/214716-all-terrain-tire-4.html
Reading thru this other thread Huala it seems like 265/70 will be stretching the tires a bit much on 17x9's. They were recommending 285's but with no lift you wouldn't be able to run them.

I would try to contact Perchie15 and see what he came up with to stuff on 17X9's.

I'm getting bilstein front and rear 5100's setting it at 1.75" with stock coils to level out eventually.
