i need some input, about a month ago i orderd and installed my spidertrax spacers, i am more than happy with thoes i just dont know if my tires are big enough now, should i have gone with 285/75's? or does this look ok as is. also how much more stance would i have with a 285. would it be worth it?

if it's your DD, I say no. for me there is no point just due to the further mpg decrease

285's look awesome, but it's not worth the headaches in loss of MPGs and power. If you want the power back, then you're gonna have to re-gear and it's not worth it IMO for 285's esp if its your DD

I have 285's on my DD and I love them. I didn't like how my lifted truck looked with the smaller 265's. Yes you will lose a little mpg. I lost about 2 mpg but I did not notice any lost of power. I fish and hunt sometimes and the bigger tires are worth it.

If your okay with a tad bit of trimming 285's are worth it imo

I agree with the last couple posts... I have 285's on my DD and I wouldnt go back... and as for the loss in power or mpg's, its not a big enough difference to really regret getting the bigger meatier tires and im running mud terrains

Love my 285s but I kinda wish I would've got 295s. My truck is my DD and I don't really care about the MPGs... comes with the territory IMO.

Well, my commute to work is 2 miles one way lol, i already get around 17.1 mpg average so i think i still might go with 285s, i might see if someone with 285s will trade me, "not sure if anyone would" i only have 8700 miles about on my set of 265s. i just think they fill the truck out better. we will see.
