01' Tacoma Tires

I own a 2001 Tacoma 2wd Dbl Cab - Pre Runner with no lift. I recently acquired a set of Bridgestone OEM tires P265/75R 16 and I'm wanting to know if they will fit on my truck before I go to the trouble and expense to find out by mounting, etc.

Do any of you guys have experience with this size on a stock truck with no lift (i.e. rubbing mudflaps, frame, turning, etc). Stock tires on it now are P265/70R 16.

thanks in advance.

I don't have any direct experience with the 1st gens, but those tires should fit without any issues or modifications.

you might have a little rubbing on the inside when making sharp turns.

I got the same truck as you and you should go with it. What was funny is that the cheapest tires I could find legit is at discount tires at 91 dollars a tire at that size. The brand is pathfinder model trail A/P. but keep truckin with the tacoma.
