tires with 2 in lift

on 1st gen, with an all around 2 in lift, what kinda tire size we talkin?

im thinkin im gonna run 265/75/16 until i get the lift, then prolly bump up to 31s or 32s

who did the install on the aal's?

im lookin at toytec, man they got some good stuff...im thinkin either 2 in shackles or their 2 in aal, with either procomp or bilstein ext shocks on the back, with either the 2 in or 2.5 in spacers up front, but im thinkin the 2.5 spacers to try to level it out

 

265/75/16 is a 32.

 

I thought bout the firm ride but I hardly have any weight in my bed.

 

265/75/16s are the same diameter as m3bassman's 235/85/16s (close enough 31.65" vs 31.73")
You could probably do the bigger Pizza Cutters 255/85/16s (you might need new bump stops) I think it's XXXX that is running them on a 2nd Gen with 1" lift & new bump stops.
My 2nd Gen with 3" lift 255/85/16 BFG KM2s on 1st Gen TRDs.

back when I was running 255/85/16's. Yes they rubbed but not terribly and only offroad.

 

they just look super skinny because of the height.

 

are 285's okay with stock gearing?

 

okay? yeah, especially if you have a 5 speed, v6 and 4.10's. They sure aren't ideal though.
