What PSI do you run?

What PSI do you guys run? I still have the stock Dunflops on mine and they came from the dealer with 29psi and I have not changed them. I'm thinking about it though. I'd rather have the cushy ride of the 29psi but I'm thinking maybe I could eek out another MPG if I raised it. I noticed they say the max psi on the dunflops is 51 psi.

34psi on my Michelin X Radial LT's. 29psi sounds awfully low. What kind of mileage are you getting?

 

Toyota generally recommends between 32-35psi for the average median between cushy ride and MPG.

With a tacoma, i'd say 34psi should be about perfect

(dont run anywhere near the max psi on tires)

 

22mpg in town 24-25 highway.
The door sticker says 29psi. I think I might go up to 35 and see what happens.

 

the 51psi is the max amount that should ever be put in the tire, since they use the same tire for several different models of vehicles the tire pressure varies. you should always follow the door jam sticker with the stock tires since it was calculated for that specific vehicle, but i run mine at about 32psi because the 29psi is a little squishy. i researched the psi subject with the NHTSA to find out what that 51psi was about.

 

I am running my Dunlop AT20s at about 40 PSI all the way around. I want to get the best mileage out of them. The ride in my truck is really nice as it is.
