Hey I know this has been discussed but there still exists some grey area for us "sport" rim guys. I have the stock 2009 17" rims and want to throw some of those Silver/Red trd wheel caps on.

I have so many differing ideas on what will work and what won't. Just need to clarify a few quick points.

First I believe they are actually from the FJ cruiser wheels correct?
Second I found, through links from TW, that only one or two websites actually carry these things anymore.??

Third I've seen the versions that will fit both the 16" OR wheels and the 17" OR or Sport wheels (but on the 17" version the model year listed is 2010 or higher?? )

TRDparts4u.com has a set that are listed as 16" and show an OR wheel. Anyone tried these on a sport wheel and not had to do any cutting?
Part number: PT904-35070-CC. 9.99 per cap and shipping is like 13 bucks. $53 is a little steap but can't find them anywhere else.

So my main question is will these or any other ones, work on a 09 sport wheel and where else can I maybe find these?? (or buy off someone on this site)

    Thanks for any info folks-

Found another set on PartZnet.com for 7.54 each, same part number as above, but listed as "Center cap service part, 2007+ FJ Cruiser 16" TRD alloy wheel." Any ideas or folks that have used these already on sport wheels?

    stock, for now
Fjcruiser caps will fit on sport wheels.

They also fit the trd offroad wheels with minor sanding of the caps. There about $50 for the set no matter where you go, i got them and paid $50. Try trdparts4u.com

    Wildjersey,

Thanks a bunch for chiming in bud. I think I even remember reading one of your previous post/comments on the subject but as you can imagine I couldn't seem to nail down a straight answer from all the info on TW.

Found some with the same part number on a site for $39 shipped. gonna have to jump on it. Tks again for confirming they should work on my sport rims.

Excellent. Just the picture I was looking for earlier to actually "see" a set of silver and red's on a stock rim. Looks awesome and exactly what I was looking for. Ordering them now. (and I'm in Houston as well) ;)

Sick build bro! I remember seeing your "skulls" on sockmonkey's pages while looking at different decals. Looks pretty awesome man. Nice truck!

I'll keep an eye out for it around town-

So did the PT904-35070-cc caps fit with no problems? I am looking to do the same.

Yea they worked awesome. No additional mods needed. Check out my "build" link in my signature and you can see them being installed. Took 5 minutes. Very pleased with the turnout.

I ordered mine ftom TRDParts4U 2 weeks ago. Just pop off the old ones and put the new ones on. They made a huge difference in the way my 17" Sport wheels look. I say go for it.
