Don't steal my tailgate Mod, Hardwired Valentine1 Radar Detector, Smitty N-FAB Nerf Bars, Led lights (Maps, overhead & rear License Plate), Debadged, TRD rim center covers, Replaced Chrome Grill with OEM Super White, PlastiDipped Toyota Logo on Grill BLACK, Distinct Offroad Custom light bar
Just talked to a guy @ Tirerack and he tells me that the 16x8 KMC XD Series Hoss Black Painted rims should be a direct retrofit (using the BFG OEM rubber) to my 265/70R16's.

Q: has anyone done this WITHOUT a lift kit and did everything work out OK? I don't want to buy them only to realize that they rub or don't fit properly.

Tire Rack's page says it's 0mm offset. 265/70R16 will be fine. 265/75R16 will rub the mud flaps.
