they will take a ridiculous amount to balance if you dont have it done the way they tell you to in the instructions. they tell you to have them static balanced and no other way. they also tell you that if they require over a certain amount of weight when statically balancing, they will replace them.

i bought a set, had them statically mounted, then drove 7 hours straight to wheel, aired them down, wheeled a bit, aired back up, and drove 7 hours straight back home. not an issue. wouldnt blink at getting another set, but those are just for wheeling and those are the only miles i have on that set.

Huh... I wasn't aware of static balancing them. TW never said a word.

I thought about having them dynamically balanced, but the truck got totaled before I got around to it.

    Stickers. Lots of stickers.
I had balanced a set of these at work for another member on here. They were horrible to balance. And static balance is the only way to go. If you don't they're a bitch to balance and don:t come out right.

lol that's funny.... I balanced a set of 285/70r17 Guard Dogs at work for my buddy too. I didn't even try a dynamic balance since I read on TWs website that they recommend static... And they balanced out just fine like that. They even asked for less weight then the km2s that were on the wheels before! I think 2.50oz was the most. They span very true as well.... very impressed.
