I'm considering wheels for purchase, which of the 2 wheels will stick out more from the side of the truck? a wheel with 4.5" backspace or a wheel with 5" backspace will stick out more? yes, im new lol...

Will I need new lugs with either of the 2 wheels? or is there anything else I might need if i purchase one of these wheels?

Both wheels actually stick out the same because although the raceline is an inch wider it has 0.5" more backspace so they are even. I would be wary of the procomp because it is lug centric and some people have issues with them because of that.

Do you plan on lifting and adding larger tires? If not, make sure your tires are approved for a 9" wide wheel as not all 265/70/17 tires are.

I just looked up the difference and wasn't aware of the different types of balancing. Thanks.

Tyler is correct, both wheels are pushed out about 2" more than stock. Do a google search on lug centric vs. hubcentric wheels and you see what he's referring to.
